Due to the tight budget available, the project consisted of a minimal intervention to turn an existing office into a shared workspace. The program included a shared room, a meeting room, a small WC and a private office.

A single partition organizes the entire program dividing the space into two parts. This active division is built with a white painted metal structure and birch plywood or polycarbonate infill panels. In addition, the existing terrazzo floor, previously hidden under a timber suspended floor, is recuperated.

The existing internal partitions and services runs are retained both in the WC and the private office. New proposed ceramic floors and colour painted walls add new finishes to these spaces. Whilst in the common space and in the meeting room, the walls and ceiling are painted white and the services are left exposed to reduce expenses.

This proposal seeks to optimize the existing space with a formal and material expressiveness.
