The Palmetum of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a 12-hectare botanical garden —the largest urban green space in the city— specialized in ex-situ conservation of palm trees.

This unique project transformed a municipal landfill into an artificial mountain with ocean views, which now houses the greatest collection of palms in Europe and the largest group of tropical islands palms in the world.

This intervention is divided in tree principal actions: Renovation of the Palm Tree Museum and Papua New Guinea zone; a hide, lake, and paths; and a brand-new greenhouse and services building.
